2010: The Year Of The Brain Tumor

Basically the seizures that I had went something like this:

• My left arm would begin jerking uncontrollably for about 10 seconds.  This is called a focal seizure.

• The focal seizure would then turn into a tonic-colonic seizure. 
  

• During the tonic phase, I quickly lose consciousness.  During those few seconds where I'm losing consciousness, it literally feels like someone is breaking my left arm.

• During the colonic phase (I'm now unconscious), my muscles will start to contract and relax rapidly, causing convulsions.
  

• All in all the seizure last less than 5 minutes.
  

• When I come to, I'm in no pain at all, but just a bit disorientated as to what just happened.  Within a few minutes I'm aware of what happened.
